I’ve never used a staffing service before. What are the benefits?
At Pacific Staffing, we will work one-on-one with you to learn about your background, skills and interests. We can then match you with a position that’s a terrific fit for you. In addition, we recruit for many companies throughout Northern California that do not advertise their job openings. As a result, we can give you more access to better jobs.
Will I be charged a fee to use your service?
No, we never charge a fee to candidates.
How do I apply for a job through Pacific Staffing?
If you are interested in working with Pacific Staffing, you may contact one of our recruiters or give us a call during regular business hours.
What kind of jobs do you fill?
We fill a variety of temporary, temp-to-hire, direct hire, and executive-level positions in Administrative/Office, Nonprofit and Association, Accounting/Finance, IT, HR, Marketing/Sales, Medical, Legal and Human Resources.
What does temp-to-hire mean?
Temp-to-hire means you are working as a Pacific Staffing employee at a client site with the possibility of being hired full time by the client after a predetermined number of weeks. If your assignment converts to a full-time hire, you will become an employee of the company where you are working.
What kinds of companies do you work with?
We work with many organizations, nonprofits and associations throughout Sacramento, San Francisco and Northern California. We also work with a variety of other businesses, including law, financial, real estate, engineering, marketing and PR firms.
What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered; is it all right to turn it down?
We realize that not every job is going to meet your expectations. If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.
How many times should I check in regarding my availability for work?
Depending on the position you’re seeking, your recruiter will let you know when to check in. As a general policy for temping, we ask that you give us an update weekly on your availability.
