CEO
Executive Recruiter
Preet Kuar is CEO and Executive Recruiter with Pacific Staffing and Pacific ExecSearch, which has been in business for 37 years. She currently leads a team of specialized recruiters for the Northern California region. Preet joined Pacific Staffing twelve years ago and created a successful Executive Search division while overseeing Pacific Staffing’s temporary and consulting division. Pacific Staffing and Pacific ExecSearch received Forbes recognition in 2020 as one of America’s best executive search firms in America and in 2022 recognized by Forbes as one of America’s best executive search firms, best professional search firms, and best temporary staffing firms. Prior to joining Pacific Staffing, Preet spent 12 years recruiting for all levels of Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Operations and Technical roles. During this time, she developed a network of contacts that enabled her to be successful across multiple industries and countless searches for her clients. Preet is passionate in surpassing her client’s expectations and advising on talent acquisition and employee retention strategies. Preet possesses a wealth of experience placing Accounting/Finance and Human Resources executives in various industries such as not for profit, technology, agricultural, biotech, and financial services organizations, among others. Preet is a graduate of San Francisco State University, where she earned a B.A. in Business Administration. She is a lifelong learner who strives to continuously network and attends workshops relevant to her field. Preet was honoree of Women Who Mean Business award presented by Sacramento Business Journal and honoree of Women in Leadership by Comstock 2020.
Beyond her search work, Preet is a board member for Women’s Empowerment, a non-profit organization invested in training and empowerment of women and children living in extreme poverty. She has been a highly active board member with the Sacramento Area Human Resource Association (SHRA) since 2005. Preet was previously a paid Board of Director for Valley Farm Transportation. Preet is a former advisory board member for California State University, Sacramento’s human resources certification program, a current advisory board member for UC Davis human resources certification program, an active member of Financial Executive Institute (FEI) and participates in various CFO round table meetings. Preet was most recently selected to be honored as one of Sacramento Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs for 2024.

Elizabeth joined Pacific Staffing in August 2012 as a Senior Recruiter, bringing with her over seven years of success and expertise in diverse recruiting. She has a proven track record recruiting for Executive Administration, Office & Project Management, Legal, Procurement, IT and Engineering disciplines. Elizabeth ensures candidate job profiles are aligned with client business objectives. She holds a strong grasp on client’s core business needs, the functional breakdown of the organization, company culture, industry market trends and the future direction of the company. Elizabeth is considered a professional ‘job search’ advisor with all levels of candidates and job seekers. She devises diverse recruiting strategies in sourcing methods, influencing, negotiating and managing candidates through the hiring process. Elizabeth serves as a senior account manager to organizations through cultivating sophisticated and loyal client relationships, and specialized recruiting projects. As a Senior Recruiter she trains and mentors up-and-coming recruiters in ensuring they are setup for success. Elizabeth enjoys volunteering with local professional networking groups and community organizations in presenting best practices for job seekers with effective resumes and interview tips.
